Pizza Grilled Cheese

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 2 slices of mozzarella cheese
  • 12 tablespoons of pizza sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • Optional toppings (pepperoni, bell peppers, olives, or other pizza toppings)

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Place one slice of bread, buttered side down, on the skillet.
  4. Spread pizza sauce on the bread, then layer with mozzarella cheese and any additional toppings you like.
  5. Top with the second slice of bread, buttered side up.
  6. Cook until the bottom slice is golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  7. Flip the sandwich carefully and grill the other side until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  8. Remove from the skillet, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

Use a non-stick skillet and don’t rush the cooking process for best results. Experiment with cheese varieties for different flavors.
