Scale
- 8 oz Cream Cheese, softened (can substitute with Neufchâtel cheese for lower fat)
- 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese, use sharp cheddar for more flavor
- 1/2 cup Sour Cream, substitute with Greek yogurt for extra protein
- 3–4 Jalapeños, roasted and diced (adjust for spice level)
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
- Salt and Pepper, to taste
- 1/4 cup Green Onions (optional), chopped for garnish
- Tortilla Chips, Crackers, or Veggies for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix in a mixing bowl the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, roasted jalapeños, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt and pepper until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and smooth the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving if desired.
- Serve warm with tortilla chips, crackers, or veggies.
Notes
Ensure the cream cheese is softened for easier mixing. Adjust jalapeño quantity for desired heat level. Freshly shredded cheese provides better meltability.
