- 2 cups Crushed pretzels
- 1/2 cup Melted butter
- 1/4 cup Sugar
- 8 oz Cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup Powdered sugar
- 2 cups Whipped topping
- 2 cups Fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 cup Strawberry Jell-O
- 2 cups Boiling water
- 2 cups Cold water
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine crushed pretzels, melted butter, and sugar in a bowl.
- Press the pretzel mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch pan.
- Bake the crust for 10 minutes and let cool.
- Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Fold in the whipped topping until blended.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled crust.
- Dissolve the strawberry jello in boiling water, stirring until dissolved.
- Stir in cold water and cool slightly.
- Layer the sliced strawberries over the cream cheese layer.
- Pour the cooled jello mixture over the strawberries.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours to set.
- Serve chilled in parfait glasses or cut into squares.
Notes
For best texture, use full-fat cream cheese and ensure the gelatin is cooled before pouring.
