Strawberry Pretzel Salad Parfaits

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Crushed pretzels
  • 1/2 cup Melted butter
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 8 oz Cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar
  • 2 cups Whipped topping
  • 2 cups Fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup Strawberry Jell-O
  • 2 cups Boiling water
  • 2 cups Cold water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine crushed pretzels, melted butter, and sugar in a bowl.
  3. Press the pretzel mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch pan.
  4. Bake the crust for 10 minutes and let cool.
  5. Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  6. Fold in the whipped topping until blended.
  7. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled crust.
  8. Dissolve the strawberry jello in boiling water, stirring until dissolved.
  9. Stir in cold water and cool slightly.
  10. Layer the sliced strawberries over the cream cheese layer.
  11. Pour the cooled jello mixture over the strawberries.
  12. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours to set.
  13. Serve chilled in parfait glasses or cut into squares.

Notes

For best texture, use full-fat cream cheese and ensure the gelatin is cooled before pouring.
