Strawberry Pretzel Salad

  • 1/2 cup Butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 8 oz Cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar
  • 8 oz Whipped topping
  • 2 cups Sliced strawberries
  • 1 cup Strawberry gelatin
  • 2 cups Boiling water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, mix pretzel crumbs with melted butter and sugar. Press into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish and bake for 10 minutes.
  2. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in whipped topping until fully combined.
  3. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled pretzel crust, ensuring an even layer.
  4. In a separate bowl, dissolve strawberry gelatin in boiling water. Once dissolved, add sliced strawberries and let cool for a few minutes.
  5. Pour the strawberry mixture over the cream cheese layer, covering it completely. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

Ensure the pretzel crust is completely cooled before adding the cream cheese layer. Experiment with fresh fruit for enhanced flavors.
