Watermelon Basil Lemonade

A refreshing twist on classic lemonade with juicy watermelon, bright lemon, and herbal basil notes.

  • Total Time: 10 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups watermelon, chopped (seedless or seeds removed)
  • 1 big lemon, juiced
  • Few mint leaves (optional, for garnish)
  • 2 tsp basil seeds, soaked
  • 1/4 tsp black salt (or regular salt to taste)
  • Ice cubes, as needed

Instructions

  1. Blend the chopped watermelon until smooth.
  2. Strain the watermelon juice into a pitcher to remove pulp if you prefer a smooth drink.
  3. Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice, soaked basil seeds, mint leaves, and black salt to the pitcher.
  4. Mix well and adjust sweetness or salt as desired.
  5. Serve over ice cubes and garnish with mint leaves.

Notes

Choose ripe watermelon for the sweetest juice. Soak basil seeds until they swell for the best texture.
